Mobile Telephone Network New HQ
The design developed in the knowledge that MTN is a modern progressive company situated in an extremely competitive high-tech market. MTN required a building that is energetic, vibrant and iconic thereby reflecting its stature within the telephony industry.
Our concept evolved from two inter-connecting towers (North & South) with an operating West wing; linked at each level via communication bridges and sited under a glass covered atrium. It was further decided to make the building visibly prominent from the main road; which in turn lead to its raised appearance. The requirement for the structure to have a state of the art resonance is communicated via the faceted glass facade. This in turn contributes to the companys policy of transparency.
